Starbucks is changing the usual grab-and-go style to get our caffeine kick and is pushing our love for coffee to new heights! Starbucks recently opened its largest store IN THE WORLD, not even a ten-minute walk from the Water Tower Campus. Follow Levels to the new Starbucks Reserve Chicago Roastery to see all it has to offer!

Located right on Michigan Avenue, the Starbucks Roastery captivates viewers from both inside and out with its unique design. After stepping inside, take a ride on the spiral escalator around the golden cask that distributes the roasted coffee beans. An employee told us that this cask is the sunlight center point of the building, so the further away you are, the darker the room is.

Each level inside the Starbucks Roastery gives guests a different experience. On the 1st floor, customers can experience standard Starbucks options made from their specialty Reserve coffee and a large retail section. The 2nd floor is a full Italian bakery that offers meals and treats from pizza to gelato. On the 3rd level, customers can taste different experiential coffees, exclusively available in Chicago. The 4th floor is a cocktail bar, and when spring comes, customers can visit the rooftop patio overlooking the heart of Chicago.
